Default Explorable AREAS

I didnt play any BWE apart from the october 2004 OPEN BWE so im not sure wat exactly is a explorable area, is it a place like the tutorial place and you travel to lion arch?

Well Wat i think of Explorable area is a place you walk out of a town or city into a place with hostile creatures and without clicking [ENTER MISSION] you just walk into it with other players.....

You've pretty much got it right. Instead of a linear mission, it's a sort of non-linear area where you can explore freely, discover new (sometimes hidden) locations, hunt monsters for items and money, and complete smaller quests.

There are three areas of Guild Wars you'll see:
Towns
Outposts
Explorable Areas

Towns are the social and trading areas of Tyria, at Outposts you do missions and in Explorable Areas you fight monsters mainly.

But the last few poster failed to mention the fact that in EAs the only people are your party and you. This was implemented to remove spawn killing. Which is nice.

I had read "you just walk into it with other players....." in the original post as meaning your party and not that there were others already there. Thx for clarifying if needed.

No, still an instanced event for you and your team.

You will be starting all over with a reset account this next BWE though I believe since you last played some time ago, so you'll be starting in pre-searing Ascalon.

It isn't like the first BWE where the guy gives you the sword and your tutorial is going the Lyon's Arch! hahaha Wow alot has been added to the game since then. Gangguard you are in for a whole new game from what you remember since October.

Post your in game name at the phone book link in my signature and look me up there too so we can talk when you are in-game this next BWE. I'd like to see what you think of pre-searing ascalon.

The phone book isn't for your phone number, it's for your Forum and and GW character names.

lol that's funny yeah it's not a literal phonebook. it's got nothing to do with phones, but it serves the same purpose for the game
